Prior to Co-founding Compound VC, David spent his entire career leading sales and business development teams for tech companies working alongside engineering and product functions to commercialize the company's products and spearheading monetization. Google brought on David as their second employee in the New York headquarters in 2000. David then spearheaded the company's monetization strategy by co-founding Google's Vertical Markets Group and wiring the regional sales team structure. For eight years, he oversaw cross-functional and cross-business responsibilities. David has served on the boards of Girls Who Code, the Sonima Foundation, and the River Fund NY.
Chair and CEO, New York City Housing Authority
Oyeshola Olatoye (“Shola”) was appointed Chair & Chief Executive Officer, New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) in 2014 by Mayor Bill de Blasio. NYCHA is the largest public housing authority in the nation. Chair Olatoye leads NYCHA’s efforts to help preserve the City’s largest source of affordable rental housing. Before her appointment at NYCHA, she was Vice President and New York Market Leader for Enterprise Community Partners, a national nonprofit that has helped build or preserve more than 44,000 affordable homes for lower-income New Yorkers and has invested more than $2.5 billion in and around the city.
Founder & CTO, Blue Apron
Ilia Papas is the Founder and CTO of Blue Apron. Prior to founding Blue Apron, Ilia was a director and technical architect at Optaros in Boston, where he led Walmart.com to launch a new platform for their Health category. He also helped architect, build, and launch RueLaLa.com, a popular private-event retail site, and has built solutions for CNN, PUMA, Turner Broadcasting, and Macy's. He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Tufts University.
