Need: C4Q’s mission is to create pathways to the middle class through technology so all applicants must demonstrate economic need to qualify for the program. Applicants may demonstrate need if they are unemployed/underemployed, or are currently receiving public benefits such as unemployment insurance, Medicaid, subsidized housing, nutrition or income support.

Potential: We're looking for dedicated and passionate individuals with demonstrated potential to succeed in the intense 80+ hour a week Access Code program. No coding experience is required, but applicants should expect to give it their all throughout the 10-month program, including participation during all scheduled classes, workshops, and program events.

Diversity: We highly encourage women, underrepresented minorities, and those without college degrees to apply.

There are no upfront costs for the program.

We aim to remove barriers to learning to code. We provide laptops, a 24/7 space for learning, and other important resources needed to succeed.

Each participant’s costs are in part funded by our generous community of funders and partners—including Google, Robin Hood, Blackstone, and other tech companies and organizations that believe in our mission.

All participants commit to paying 12% of their gross annual salaries for 36 months upon getting a tech job. Your success is our success — only participants who have gotten tech jobs above $60,000 will be expected to contribute.

This model ensures that your brother, sister, cousin, neighbor, or friend has the same opportunity to transform their lives.

The rigorous application process identifies individuals that are ready to commit to learning and to succeeding in the program.
